On this day in the year 1622 of the common era (CE) Pope Gregory XV forms the Congregatio de Propagande Fide, sometimes called the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, but more properly understood as the Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith, this is the organization from whose name we derive the modern term propaganda…these are the Jesuit’s, also know as the Society of Jesus (S.J.), though members of the order refer to themselves as the Knight of Jesus. Ignatius of Loyola was the founder.

In the year 1973 CE "Schoolhouse Rock" premieres on ABC-TV with Multiplication Rock, it runs for twelve years providing members of the so-called Generation X with core knowledge in key areas of learning such as grammar and arithmetic, American history, astronomy and nutrition, as well as civics, the function of government and the constitution. The primary broadcast of School House Rock ends in 1985, the series goes into syndication then direct to video sales ending in 2009.
In the year 2021 CE, supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump storm the Capitol in Washington, D.C. during Congress’s certification of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s victory, resulting in five deaths and prompting the evacuation of lawmakers including Vice President Mike Pence whose life threatened. The majority of the terrorists and white nationalists perpetrating the attack on the capitol, did so with the express intention of blocking the certification of the electoral college vote in congress, effectively ending the presidency of Donald Trump while installing Joe Biden to the office (though the inauguration takes place on January 20th); this same group of people, by and large, did not benefit from exposure to School House Rock, and as a result they were more susceptible to the propaganda that seized them.
